Droplets on the Windowpane

                Droplets on the Windowpane

You, me the cosy rug and those droplets on windowpane..

You in your splendid ginger gown,
me resplendent in my coffee brown,
Purring in harmony were our identically white manes..

You, me, the cosy rug and those droplets on the windowpane..

You ruffled my whiskers, misses nitpicking my flaws,
We exchanged angry hisses drawing our claws,
Bickering over that last piece of tuna was bloody insane..

You, me, the cosy rug and those droplets on the windowpane..

Still remember the afternoon when you were on heat,
My cacophonous cat calls were sounding surprisingly sweet,
Your piercing glare,
But your piercing glare had had my confidence drain..

You, me, the cosy rug and those droplets on the windowpane..

And the Christmas of 2014 wasn't exactly merry,
We were lazing all day  binge watching Tom and  Jerry,
Reading that dank cat meme
I nuzzled up to you
growled like dog suddenly,
that dirty look you threw
"Fleas , you gave me Samuel, I'm gonna fry your brain.."

You, me, the cosy rug and those droplets on the windowpane..

Six long years, we've been through thick and thin,
Enjoyed the luxuries of closets, endured that rotten smelly bin,
Was it that threadbare yarn ball that kept our paws tied in strain?

You, me, the cosy rug and those droplets on the windowpane..

Kids grow fast don't they? not chasing lasers anymore.
"Grumpy" was covered in ash yesterday gotta watch the door.
Know you loathe cat food spouse,
See I braved catching this wee mouse,
Promise..
Promise you'll snuggle tight whenever we sit by this windowpane..

Flicking tails, licking nails by this romantic rousing rain...

-Samuel the Fluffy Furball
